The serum supports the skin’s own natural regeneration processes, stimulating the supply to the skin cells and thereby reducing premature skin aging. A complex containing vitamins B3, B5 and B6 optimises the metabolic processes and improves energy and oxygen transportation. Cell growth is stimulated which improves the thickness of the epidermis. Seborrhoeic dermatitis, which frequently occurs as a result of vitamin deficiency, is prevented. Regular use reduces new lines and wrinkles, leaving the skin noticeably smooth and supple. In particular, vitamin B3 (niacinamide) is an important beauty vitamin as it prevents the age-related formation of blotches and improves the epidermis’ ability to hold moisture. The active ingredient, Pycnogenol® (OPC: oligomeric proanthocyanidin, a plant-based bio-flavonol) neutralises free radicals which significantly speed up the skin’s aging process. The cells are protected, the capillaries are stabilised. The antioxidant and skin-regenerating effect of this serum is further enhanced by its enrichment with two vitamin C components, both in stabilised form. Vitamin C stimulates collagen synthesis, intensifies the cell protection effect of Pycnogenol® and helps prevent changes in skin pigmentation because it inhibits tyrosinase (the enzyme that catalyses the production of melanin).
